Custom class on TextBox.

What's the best way to set a class based on a number ?


Please see the below code, I know it's not perfect but am I going along the write lines?

Hello Sara,


There is a mass EAM functionality enhancement which is available if you have:


  • SAP Access Control 10.1, SP09 or
  • SAP Access Control 10.1, SP08 and then apply SAP Note 2133757.


This enhancement will help you out in this scenario.

Remaining variance for Process Order

Dear Experts,

We have an issue with remaining variance against process orders for few materials..

Could you please clarify below things,

1. When the remaining variance will be calculate,

2. Is there any impact in business because of these remaining variance..

And when I tried to settle this amount it is not considering for settlement....

I have checked variance variant Remaining variance is not maintained and the minimal Difference set as 0%

When you check in an updated model to the repository, PD will only update the objects that have changed. When you check the model out, it may retrieve object definitions from several versions of the model in order to build your local model - e.g. Customer entity may be retrieved from version 2, and the Order entity from version 5.

If you check in a baseline version, PD creates a copy of every object in the model, whether or not it differs from the current repository version of the model. That makes it simple and quicker to check in the model. I'm not sure why you're getting the message advising you to check in a baseline version (it might be something to do with the PD version that was used to check in the old version of the model), but it's safe to say that you have to do what it tells you to . In the model check-in dialogue, select the 'Create baseline version' option.

optimum Billing - based on rental period

Hello experts,

 

We have rental contract with monthly billing cycle. Billing is in advance. We have different condition types for Daily, weekly and monthly rates.

Contract will consider daily, weekly or monthly rates based on the billing cycle and will bill accordingly.

Lets say Daily rates is $ 15/day

Weekly rate is $30/week

Monthly is $100/month

 

Contract is created for 1 month and 2 weeks, In SAP it calculates the billing amount for 1st month = 100. and for 2nd billing cycle amount is $50 (prorate billing)

 

where as customer calculates differently

1st billing is $100 (monthly)

2nd billing is $60 (2 weeks)

 

How can we archive this in SAP? Is there optimum billing concept?

Typically we would define the screen as 100 columns and then set the field column position accordingly to get the alignment desired.  How do you have those fields defined?  Also when version of the WPF client are you using?

 

I would suggest also looking at the latest SP12 WPF client as there were a number of windowing changes (including adding a back button to be like iOS).

Hi All,

 

thanks for your inputs.

issue resolved , actually for a specific document printing , functional configuration is different , for this smartform was getting executed in different language and on checking smartform in that language a different variable is used rest everything is same.and its value is blank . hence same is getting display.

BPC NW Publication Error

I am new to BPC (trying to learn!)

 

We have an issue publishing books to a SharePoint Portal.

 

I am using BPC Add-In 10.0 SP 20 Patch 2 .NET 3.50, Build 9063 installed locally.

I am using SAP BPC for Netweaver 10.1

 

I am publishing a Book to a single PDF containing 19 sheets.

 

I start up Excel (so no workbooks Open), go into EPM and Book Publication.

 

Select all details and set to publish to a SharePoint Team Site (defined as a mapped Network Drive)

 

Set to run now.

 

However when the publish runs the first 6-8 pages show as an error and don't create in the PDF, but then all subsequent pages do not error and appear in PDF.

 

Error displayed is "Error while saving the file...."

 

If I run this to a local (desktop) directory instead of SharePoint then all is OK - all pages created in PDF with no errors.

 

Distribution works OK, even to the same target directory (so I don't think the issue is a connection to SharePoint or authorisation issue)

 

I looked in the Log File and can see error detail:

|ERROR|BookOperation|FPMXLCClient.Books.BoopOperationProcessImpl.PublicationPrinting|p01comsc|||||9|You cannot save this workbook with the same name as another open workbook or add-in. Choose a different name, or close the other workbook or add-in before saving

 

This is confusing, nobody else is logged in, I don't have any other sessions logged in

 

When I run locally I see that Excel opens a Workbook with the name of the Publish (that I entered), and another one for the worksheet the template says to use, so 3 worksheets open until process is completed and then only left with one worksheet.

 

However when I run to SharePoint I see different behaviour, as each sheet fails I get a Blank Excel Workbook called "Bookn.xslx" (where n is an incremental number). This is only created where there is an error. Pages that are OK don't create additional workbooks. This is probably not a cause but thought it best to mention!

 

Can anyone shed some light?

 

I have seen on another thread a suggestion to install amyuni, but how does this help?

 

Have also seen a suggestion to save to .xltx rather than .xlsx  but not sure if this is relevant. The underlying report on BPC is a .xlsx, but I am creating a .pdf? If this was an issue why does it fail for the first few pages and then work for the remainder of the pages?

Thanks Stefan, you are not far off the mark..  I know very little in this area. I was hoping SAP would fix it like they did in the past,but they have changed their approach.

 

I have few queries based on skewed columns , which does not choose the right index. Our DBA's have not provided any solution so far (except for changing the ABAP statement) and that was the reason, I have taken this up.

 

Your solution seems like the best solution so far. Least intrusive and comprehensive (that It can impact all the program with the same query).

Could you share what would be the hind text to turn on ACS?

You might not have maintained the number range properly.Either interval is missing or the number range number is mismatched while selecting from NRIV table.

Hello Srisailam,

 

Use below mentioned points to access custom attributes in .jsp page.

 

 

 

1) You may need to use .irpt file to set required custom attributes

2) either you use a form with FORM ACTION "Submit" on irpt or <href src=""> tag to set JSP file which is to be called like below ( i did with FORM)

 

 

<form  method="POST"  enctype="multipart/form-data" action="uploadFile.jsp?pkey={PKEY}&pname={PNAME}" accept-charset="iso-8859-1" onsubmit="return validate();">

 

</form>

 

or can use in IRPT

 

<a><href src="uploadFile.jsp?pkey={PKEY}&pname={PNAME}" > </a>  (like this, so that we can call src)

Using BO java sdks you can get the details stored in the CMS db and the information you are looking is only stored in audit db. So the answer would be no. si_lastlogontime would give you details about when the user last logged into BO and there is no property which would give you details about when the report was last accessed by a user.

 

However if you want to have an automated process involving java, you can create a program and execute queries directly on audit db and get the details. For this you would not be using any BO api's it would be standard java api's to connect to DB and getting the details.

I want to copy composition data from one vat to other within same spec . and want to carry out at mass . looks like copy template sounds promising . but can it be used within spec ?
